The following log files are processed automatically:
- IP address of the requesting computer
- Type of internet browser used
- Language of the internet browser used
- Version of the internet browser used

The log files contain your IP address, but it is shortened before storage. It is therefore not possible to attribute it to you, and your data is also not stored together with other personal data. The processing of the above-mentioned data is necessary for the provision of our website. The legal basis for the processing of the data for anonymisation purposes is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
4. Contact by email
You have the option of contacting us by email. The personal data you transmit in the email is stored by us. The data is not passed on to third parties. The data is processed exclusively in order to deal with your enquiry. The legal basis for the processing of your personal data is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The data is stored until it is no longer required to achieve the purpose of the conversation with you and the matter of your enquiry has been fully resolved.
If your email aims to conclude a contract with us, the additional legal basis for the processing of your personal data is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. This data is stored for as long as it is required for the performance of the contract. Beyond that, we store your data only in order to comply with contractual or legal obligations (e.g. tax obligations).
You can withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal data at any time by notifying us by email at
5. Newsletter
On our website, we offer you the option of subscribing to our newsletter free of charge. For this we require, in addition to your declaration of consent, your email address. By submitting the newsletter registration, you consent to our processing of your data.
Further information, e.g. your name, is voluntary and serves to address you personally. The legal basis for sending the newsletter is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR with regard to your email address, because we provide our service to you in this way, and Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR with regard to further data provided voluntarily.
We will only send you the newsletter once you have confirmed your registration by clicking the link provided for this purpose in a confirmation email sent to you. In this way we wish to ensure that only you yourself can subscribe to the newsletter. You must confirm your registration promptly after receiving the confirmation email, as otherwise your newsletter registration will be automatically erased from our database.
In addition, as part of your newsletter registration we store the time (date and time) at which your data was transmitted to us, as well as your IP address. The processing of this data corresponds to our legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR in ensuring the security of our systems and preventing misuse.
Your data is not passed on to third parties and is processed exclusively in connection with the sending of newsletters. The purpose of processing your email address is to enable us to deliver the newsletter to you. Further data collected during the registration process serves either to address you personally or to ensure the security of our services and to prevent misuse of the email address used.
Your data is stored only for as long as is necessary to achieve the purpose. Your email address is therefore stored for the duration of your active newsletter subscription, provided your consent has been given. The data that we additionally collect automatically during your registration (IP address, date and time) is erased at the latest when you end your newsletter subscription.
If you provide your email address when using our services, we may use it for sending the newsletter. This takes place exclusively within the scope of direct marketing for our own or similar goods or services.
Option to object / unsubscribing from the newsletter
You can unsubscribe from or cancel our newsletter at any time. You will find the link for this at the end of every newsletter. By doing so, you withdraw your consent or object to any further use of your data for the purpose of sending the newsletter.

If you block all cookies, it is possible that not all functions of our website will be available to you.
We use cookies on our website. Cookies are text files that, in the course of your visit to our website, are sent by our web server to your browser and held by it on your computer for later retrieval. A cookie can therefore be used to identify your internet browser when you visit the website again.

b. External cookies (third-party cookies):
We use cookies from so-called “third parties” on our website. This means that, in the course of your visit to our website, data is transmitted from your web browser to the web server of the third party and stored there.
Google Analytics
The analytics service Google Analytics of Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (hereinafter: “Google Analytics”) is implemented on our website. Google Analytics sets cookies that store the following information:
- type of internet browser used

As a rule, your IP address is shortened within the European Union/the EEA before it is transmitted to Google servers in the USA. Your information is processed on a pseudonymised basis, and we will not combine it with any other personal data of yours.
We use the data collected in this way for statistical purposes, in order to optimise our website and offerings. The legal basis for this is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
You can also prevent the collection by Google of the data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website (including your IP address), as well as the processing of this data by Google, by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link (https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en).
You can prevent the storage of Google cookies either directly in your browser settings, or prevent the processing of your data by clicking the following link and effecting an “opt-out”: Click here to opt out of Google Analytics tracking. In doing so, an “opt-out cookie” is set, which prevents the collection of your user data on this website.
You can find Google’s privacy policy at the following link: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en.
7. Icon links to social networks
On our website, we use small icons that each link to our web presence on third-party platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn). These are hyperlinks in each case, so no data is transmitted from you automatically; this only happens when you click on the icons and a new tab with the third-party provider’s website opens in your browser.
8. Other third-party content embedded in our website
YouTube
For the purpose of an attractive design of our website, we embed videos from YouTube, a service of Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (hereinafter: “YouTube”). We use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode, so that information about you is only shared with YouTube if you activate the video by clicking the play button on the video.
If you activate the video, YouTube uses cookies to collect information for analysis purposes and to improve user-friendliness. According to YouTube, the data is processed on a pseudonymised basis. However, if you are logged in to your Google or YouTube account, the data may, where applicable, be linked directly to your YouTube account.
You can find further information on data protection, including on how long YouTube stores your data, in Google’s privacy policy at: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en. The legal basis for the embedding of the YouTube service on our website and the associated processing of your data is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
The legal basis for the processing of your data is Section 26 of the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and Art. 88 GDPR.
9. Registration on our website
When you register to use our personalised services, some personal data is collected, such as your name, address, contact and communication data (e.g. telephone number and email address). If you are registered with us, you can access content and services that we offer only to registered users. Registered users also have the option of changing or erasing the data provided at registration at any time if required. Of course, we will also provide you with information at any time about the personal data we hold about you. The data entered during registration is processed on the basis of the user’s consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Recipients of the data may, where applicable, be technical service providers who act as processors for the operation and maintenance of our website. In this context, data is only processed for as long as the corresponding consent exists. Thereafter it is erased, unless statutory retention obligations preclude this. To contact us in this regard, please use the contact details given at the end of this privacy policy. The provision of your personal data is voluntary and based solely on your consent. Without the provision of your personal data, we cannot grant you access to certain content and services offered.
10. Use of script libraries (Google Webfonts)
In order to display our content correctly and in a graphically appealing way across all browsers, we use “Google Web Fonts” of Google LLC (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; hereinafter “Google”) on this website to display fonts. You can find the privacy policy of the library operator Google here: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/ The legal basis for the embedding of Google Webfonts and the associated data transfer to Google is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
Calling up script libraries or font libraries automatically triggers a connection to the operator of the library. In this case, it is theoretically possible – although currently also unclear whether and, if so, for what purposes – that the operator, Google, collects data.
We do not collect any personal data through the embedding of Google Webfonts.
You can find further information on Google Web Fonts at https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq and in Google’s privacy policy: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/.
Google processes your data in the USA and has submitted to the EU-US Privacy Shield https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework.
The provision of the personal data is required neither by law nor by contract. However, correct display of the content cannot be ensured using standard fonts.
The programming language JavaScript is regularly used to display the content. You can therefore object to the data processing by deactivating the execution of JavaScript in your browser or by installing a JavaScript blocker. Please note that this may result in functional restrictions on the website.
11. Google AdWords
Our website uses Google conversion tracking. The operating company of the Google AdWords services is Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. If you have reached our website via an advertisement placed by Google, Google AdWords sets a cookie on your computer. The conversion tracking cookie is set when a user clicks on an advertisement placed by Google.
If the user visits certain pages of our website and the cookie has not yet expired, we and Google can recognise that the user clicked on the advertisement and was redirected to this page. Each Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. Cookies can therefore not be tracked across the websites of AdWords customers. The information obtained with the help of the conversion cookie is used to generate conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted for conversion tracking. Customers learn the total number of users who clicked on their advertisement and were redirected to a page tagged with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information with which users can be personally identified.
The legal basis for the embedding of Google AdWords and the associated data transfer to Google is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
Each time you visit our website, personal data, including your IP address, is transmitted to Google in the USA. This personal data is stored by Google. Google may, under certain circumstances, pass on this personal data, collected via the technical procedure, to third parties.
Our company does not receive any information from Google by means of which the data subject could be identified. These cookies lose their validity after 30 days and are not used for personal identification.
Google processes your data in the USA and has submitted to the EU-US Privacy Shield https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework.
If you do not wish to take part in tracking, you can refuse the setting of the cookie required for this – for example via a browser setting that generally deactivates the automatic setting of cookies, or by setting your browser to block cookies from the domain “googleleadservices.com”.
Please note that you must not delete the opt-out cookies for as long as you do not wish measurement data to be recorded. If you have deleted all your cookies in the browser, you must set the relevant opt-out cookie again.
The provision of your personal data is voluntary and based solely on your consent. If you block access, this may result in functional restrictions on the website.
12. Use of Google Remarketing
This website uses the remarketing function of Google Inc. The operator of the Google Remarketing services is Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (hereinafter “Google”).
The remarketing function serves to display interest-based advertisements to website visitors within the Google advertising network. A so-called “cookie” is stored in the visitor’s browser, which makes it possible to recognise the visitor when they visit websites that belong to Google’s advertising network. On these pages, the visitor may be shown advertisements relating to content that the visitor previously viewed on websites that use Google’s remarketing function. The legal basis for the embedding of Google Remarketing and the associated data transfer to Google is your consent (Art.
According to its own statements, Google does not collect any personal data in this process. Should you nevertheless not wish to use Google’s remarketing function, you can generally deactivate it by making the relevant settings at https://support.google.com/adwordspolicy/answer/143465. Alternatively, you can deactivate the use of cookies for interest-based advertising via the Network Advertising Initiative. Instructions for this can be found here: http://www.networkadvertising.org/managing/opt_out.asp.
The provision of your personal data is voluntary and based on your consent. If you block access, this may result in functional restrictions on the website.
13. Google reCAPTCHA
We use Google reCAPTCHA of the company Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; hereinafter “Google”) to prevent automated form entries (spam).
The legal basis for its use is Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. There is a legitimate interest in protecting form entries from automated and/or fraudulent filling mechanisms.
reCAPTCHA is a free service from Google that protects websites from spam and abuse. It uses advanced risk analysis techniques to distinguish humans from automated technologies. This website uses reCAPTCHA to secure forms.
By using reCAPTCHA, data is transmitted to Google, which Google uses to determine whether the person filling in a form is a human or an automated technology. Which data is collected by Google and what this data is used for can be read here: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en-GB.
The terms of use for Google’s services and products can be found at https://policies.google.com/terms?hl=en-GB.
14. Facebook Pixel
This website uses the Facebook Pixel of Facebook, operated by Facebook Ireland Ltd., 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2 Ireland.
This code evaluates the behaviour of visitors who visit this website and also use Facebook. This data is collected and stored by Facebook for the purpose of evaluating and optimising advertisements. We cannot view this collected data; it can only be used in connection with the placing of advertisements. Cookies are set when the Facebook Pixel is used. The Facebook Pixel code informs Facebook of the visit to this website. Facebook uses this information, among other things, to target its advertisements. For people who use a Facebook account and are logged in, the visit to this website is assigned to their Facebook account.
Details on the use of the Facebook Pixel can be found here: https://www.facebook.com/business/learn/facebook-ads-pixel
Logged-in Facebook users can adjust the advertising settings in Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/ads/preferences/?entry_product=ad_settings_screen.
16. Your rights
When we process your data, you are a “data subject” within the meaning of the GDPR. You have the following rights: right of access, right to rectification, right to restriction of processing, right to erasure, right to notification and right to data portability. In addition, you have a right to object and a right to withdraw consent.
Details of the individual rights are set out below:
a. Right of access
You have the right to request confirmation from us as to whether we are processing personal data concerning you. Where we process your personal data, you have the right to obtain information about the following:
- the purposes of the processing
- the categories of personal data that are processed;
- the recipients or categories of recipients to whom your personal data has been or will be disclosed, in particular recipients in third countries or international organisations;
- where possible, the envisaged period for which your personal data will be stored or, if that is not possible, the criteria used to determine that period;

- the existence of automated decision-making, including profiling, referred to in Art. 22(1) and (4) GDPR and, at least in those cases, meaningful information about the logic involved, as well as the significance and the envisaged consequences of such processing for you.
- If we transfer your data to an international organisation or to a third country, you also have the right to request information as to whether appropriate safeguards pursuant to Art. 46 GDPR exist in connection with the transfer.
b. Right to rectification
You have the right to rectification and/or completion of the data that we have stored about you if this data is inaccurate or incomplete. We will carry out the rectification or completion without undue delay.
c. Right to restriction of processing
Under certain conditions, you have the right to request that we restrict the processing of your personal data. For this, at least one of the following conditions must be met:
- you contest the accuracy of the personal data, for a period enabling us to verify the accuracy of the personal data;
- the processing is unlawful and you oppose the erasure of the personal data and request the restriction of its use instead;
- we no longer need the personal data for the purposes of the processing, but you require it for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims, or
- you have objected to the processing pursuant to Art. 21(1) GDPR, pending verification of whether our legitimate grounds override your interests.
d. Right to erasure
You have the right to request that we erase your personal data without undue delay where we are obliged to do so. This is the case if one of the following conditions is met:
- Your personal data is no longer necessary in relation to the purposes for which it was collected or otherwise processed.
- You withdraw your consent on which the processing was based pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) or Art. 9(2)(a) GDPR, and there is no other legal ground for the processing.

- Your personal data has been unlawfully processed.
- The erasure of the personal data is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation under Union or Member State law to which we are subject.
- Your personal data has been collected in relation to information society services offered, pursuant to Art. 8(1) GDPR.
If we have made your personal data public and we are obliged to erase it pursuant to the above conditions, we will, taking account of the available technology and the cost of implementation, take reasonable steps, including technical measures, to inform other controllers that are processing the personal data that you have requested from us the erasure of all links to this personal data or of copies or replications of this personal data.
However, your right to erasure does not apply where the processing is necessary for the following reasons (exceptions):
- for exercising the right of freedom of expression and information;
- for compliance with a legal obligation which requires processing under Union or Member State law to which we are subject, or for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in us;
- for reasons of public interest in the area of public health in accordance with Art. 9(2)(h) and (i) and Art. 9(3) GDPR;
- for archiving purposes in the public interest, scientific or historical research purposes or statistical purposes in accordance with Art. 89(1) GDPR, in so far as the right referred to in (1) is likely to render impossible or seriously impair the achievement of the objectives of that processing, or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
e. Right to notification
If you have exercised your right to rectification, erasure or restriction of processing against us, we are obliged to communicate any rectification, erasure or restriction of processing of your data to each recipient to whom we have disclosed your personal data, unless this proves impossible or involves disproportionate effort.
f. Right to data portability
On the following conditions, you have the right to receive the personal data that you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, and the right to have this data transmitted to another controller:
(1) the processing is based on consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) or Art. 9(2)(a) GDPR or on a contract pursuant to Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, and
(2) the processing is carried out by automated means.
In exercising this right, you also have the right to have your personal data transmitted directly by us to another controller, where this is technically feasible and where it does not adversely affect the rights and freedoms of other persons. This right to data portability does not apply where the processing is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in us.
g. Right to object
You have the right, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to object at any time to the processing of your personal data which is based on Art. 6(1)(e) or (f) GDPR. This also applies to profiling based on those provisions. Following an objection, we will no longer process your personal data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
Where we process your personal data for direct marketing purposes, you have the right to object at any time to the processing of your personal data for the purpose of such marketing. This also applies to profiling to the extent that it is related to such direct marketing.
If you object to the processing of your personal data for direct marketing purposes, we will no longer process it for these purposes.
In connection with the use of information society services – and notwithstanding Directive 2002/58/EC (Directive on privacy and electronic communications) – you may exercise your right to object by automated means using technical specifications.
h. Right to withdraw consent
Pursuant to Art. 7(3) GDPR, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. The withdrawal of consent does not retroactively render the processing unlawful.
i. Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy. In particular, you may exercise your right to lodge a complaint in the Member State of your residence, your place of work or the place of the alleged infringement if you consider that the processing of your personal data infringes the GDPR.
