Are there certain materials and / or objects a

laser beam should never hit on?

At a laser light staging you should take care of sensitive items such as cameras, beamers, projectors and other sensitive optics. These can react very sensitive to laser beams and be damaged while direct contact, especially if these items zooms into the laser beams. For the human eye and skin, there are guidelines and rules (laser safety regulations), which must be observed during a laser show. Of course, they do not apply to objects. This needs a certain sense of proportion and a cooperative collaboration of all technicians on the set. Last but not least, avoid to hit materials that are not flame-resistant with a single and non-moving high-power laser beam.
