Are 3D-effects possible at a

laser show? If so, how?

Yes, staging 3D effects with a laser show system are possible, though it requires the commitment with a projection screen. Even if a laser projector can project three- dimensional effects, it is not possible to let the laser light end anywhere in space. But by using a Gauze screen for example, that consists of a reticulated and nearly invisible cloth, you get the impression of a realistic and levitating 3D effect. If the audience cannot see the projection screen, it seems as a more realistic 3D effect, it seems that the graphic is projected without any help somewhere in the space - and that is magical as you can see in the video on the left side. 3D effects are mostly used to amaze or surprise people when projecting graphics like a story about a person or more persons, to show a special product presentation, to celebrate a company’s anniversary and presenting the logo, for opening ceremonies of very important buildings, or something like that. To get a 3D effect via laser, that looks like a real 3D effect, you should programm the text, graphic or logo as a 3D effect. With a professional laser show software it can be very easy. A further possibility is 3D effecting somewhere in the space. Mystical tunnels, triangles, squares or any other pattern all in different colors, multi-colored or single-colored, combined with fog create 3D effects - the audience feel like they dive in to the fantastic world of laser directly. That is a special feeling you should not miss.
